Maya Angelou's voice as a woman, activist, and poet influenced me greatly. Year's ago, I stumbled across her poem, Phenomenal Woman. It touched me to my core, teaching me to be more accepting of my womanhood - my curves - my truth. Today, I stumbled across this video excerpt of her on the Oprah's Masterclass. Her central message was this:

As a love activist, I'm always looking for ways to alchemize love in a situation or a person. After all, it's our innate birthright.
I'm in love with life and the people in it, loving the difference I get to make, and liberated by the knowledge that love is really all there is.
